DJ came off the bench to score a career high 21 points in 26 minutes of work in last night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. DJ was 9-15 from the floor and rounded out his stat line with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. While DJ had arguably the best game of his young career, the Bobcats weren’t able to stay close with the Dallas Mavericks after getting down 15-0 to start the game, eventually falling 100-83.
After the game DJ was happy that he was able to be effective on the court, but was disappointed with the outcome of the game. “I just played tonight,” he said when asked if he did anything different out on the court. “Other nights I was just thinking too much, but tonight I just played. Not too much went well for the team. We didn’t come out with the win, and that’s the most important thing.”
“We did some good things here and there and made some runs, but they made some tough shots that kind of hurt us. “
